I have taken Ina May’s message to heart in my journey as a prenatal patient advocate, certified birth doula through DONA, labor and delivery nurse and student midwife. I am also working towards CBE certification with ICEA. My goal in life is to serve expectant mothers and their families and help change the face of maternity care both in the US and beyond.

My name is Evie DeWitt, and I live in Mitchell, SD. Anything to do with pregnancy and birth is my passion. I am an ICEA certified doula, and plan to begin training to become a childbirth educator soon. My husband and I have two children - one was a very medical birth in the hospital, and the other one was an unassisted birth at home. I believe that women were designed by God to give birth, and I am here to help them through the process!

Doula work is a passion for me ~ Connie Livingston. I have been practicing as a childbirth educator (Lamaze & ICEA) and doula for 30 years!
