I am also an active member of DONA International, CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association), Birth Matters Tidewater (providing education, support and resources). I am on the leadership board for Birth Matters Tidewater/Virginia,  Partners in Birth (PIB) a local group of child birth professionals/peer group, and ICAN  (International Cesarean Awareness Network) of Hampton Roads.    Along with having my own doula business, I am also a partner to two other doulas. We  call ourselves “Birth Journeys Doulas and Childbirth Educators”, offering resources, education, and a list of other services in the Hampton Roads area.   I am fully committed to the physical, emotional, and informational needs of my clients.
